Since May of 2007 we have enrolled over 1,900 groups of 25 or more in the Tijuana area and beyond, totaling over 79,000 Bibles and Purple Books distributed.

BCM Provides materials & follow up free of charge

Baja Christian Ministries has provided free of charge a Bible and a Purple Book to every person who has signed up to do this Bible study course in Baja Mexico. Along with this we are also maintaining a personal monthly follow up with each group leader to see the books through to completion and update our records. We hope to be able to keep doing this until we reach our goal of distributing one million Bibles and Purple Books in the Baja Peninsula.

Purple Book Group Leaders can be as young as Niko and Arleth Rodriguez 13 and 12 years old, leaders of group #793, or as old as 72 year old Maria M. Estrada leader of group #860......Commitment to seeing that everyone in their group completes their Purple Book is what's required

Of the 1,900 + groups we have enrolled in this study course so far, more than 1,200 groups have finished with over 38,000 people who have completed the Purple Book's study of the Bible.

Follow up is key, and a follow up chart is what we use to keep tabs on group leaders who sign up to lead a PB group, this particular group #59 was comprised of 25 students as most groups are, however there are some groups that are signed up with as many as 200, and one group in particular signed up with 800 inmates from "La Mesa" prison in Tijuana.

We believe part of the reason for the encouraging results we are seeing with the Purple Book Discipleship Program is that it's structured around a follow up system which allows for every Bible and Purple Book distributed to be followed up on, with the intent to verify that every Purple Book given out is completed.
